such votes would not come back once used (or maybe for a premium price one could buy re-usable votes)
surely things would have to be controlled in a way to avoid worst case cenarios such as a single client ompletely monopolizing a project uservoice's page, but I am pretty sure that some kind of balance can be achieved.

malk.zameth said:

awww, I forgot that whitespace gets erased... well my suggestion surely turned into a wall of text...

tag:uservoice.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/195222008-07-03T07:47:44+00:002008-07-03T07:47:44+00:00General: A controlled vote market
malk.zameth suggested:
some project/companies would have free and paid users, and would give more weight to the votes of their paid users, this could be attained with previous suggestions of 'admins setting a user vote count', but my idea is:
let, for the projects that opt in only, the creation of a vote market, clients buy X extra votes for the project (limits set by the project admin) uservoice gets a %, the admin gets the fairer share as donation, the paying client gets the bought extra votes, everybody is happy.

Can there be a place for that? Perhaps on the right sidebar? Also - it should not cost 'Votes' to do so.
It's always a good idea to say what is working too :-)

malk.zameth said:

like tmetro said without voting it would be useless, but if there is a tab for that with a DIFERRENT vote count (even a limitless one) then admins could get a grasp of what really pleased the major part of their users. unfortunately people would just abuse it and use the two tabs to post everything.

tag:uservoice.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/195052008-07-03T07:28:47+00:002008-07-03T07:28:47+00:00General: differentiate between bugs and features [updated]
Right now, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to filter what I'm looking at in terms of differentiating between bugs and features.
