differentiate between bugs and features
Right now, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to filter what I'm looking at in terms of differentiating between bugs and features. Such a differentiation is important if you are running a real, production web site.
Hmm, on the one hand we want users to prioritize bugs vs features in the same list, but on the other hand many admins will want to take care of bugs before they get to be too big an issue.

Why not just flag bugs as bugs (and maybe give them a different color)
You have "this is spam | duplicate" links, just add "bug" to the links. And also "irrelevant" as well. Sometimes people ask for browser based features for web apps etc.

I was in favor of not distinguishing between the two until I ran into the scenario I described over in suggestion 454. You want to encourage users to enter bugs. So if the user declares the entry to be a bug report, you might lift the requirement that they have available votes. In fact you might even award them an extra vote once the bug is confirmed.

We decided to use UserVoice only for feature requests and not for bug reports for now. We feel that bugs should be fixed anyway, not depending on how many people are voting for it..

If you allow tagging or admin-created categories (http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/2322) wouldn't that basically also cover this need? I mean other than tmetro's nifty suggestion about rewarding bug reports. If so vote for 2322 :-)

this tools its a brillliant idea og general user feedback, but turning it into a full fledged bug control system (like trac, bugzilla, flyspray etc) would make it lose focus, it is better to leave bug tracking to other apps and focus on general user feedback (which WILL include a bug from time to time)
