Member site based authentication (single sign-on)
planned
Allow a member site with its own authentication system pass an authentication token when linking to UserVoice, so that registered users of a web application like SlimTimer won't have to register again for UserVoice.
We have single sign-on as one of the features in our enterprise edition. Contact sales@uservoice.com for more info.

I like this one as well. Would be very useful for vbulletin powered communities.

I really think this would be useful. Especially when combined with the CNAME feature. It can be confusing with the site's branding to not know why you have to login/sign up for a new account

That would be a great feature. I can not imagine that users of our application would be willing to log in again to a separate application to send feedback.

I just created a request for this separately....i guess it would be difficult to find.

This is absolutely essential for how I would like to implement UserVoice for my customers.

The use of OpenID could also be a solution for this, if the referring site, like mine, implements (or plans to implement) OpenID for user logins.

Why not OAuth, like Twitter and Get Satisfaction use? Using SAML instead of the more popular OAuth is surprising.

I second Toby's suggestion to use OAuth -- a much more lightweight (and thus more likely to be implemented by other web service providers) protocol. It's also designed to complement OpenID, which is being discussed here: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/pages/general/suggestions/55

Please also make an option to only let them login with the sites login and not create a new one. That way we know customers aren't cheating their votes.
