Add A "Compliment" Section - Say What's Right About Product
What if a user likes something, such as - "Hey, I love your new logo!" Can there be a place for that? Perhaps on the right sidebar? Also - it should not cost 'Votes' to do so.
It's always a good idea to say what is working too :-)

Nice, but do you really need the UserVoice infrastructure to facilitate that? It doesn't benefit from voting, ranking, or organizing. The only benefit it provides over sending the developer an email is making the compliment public.

This is a brilliant idea! As a software developer want to know what features most popular and useful. People very often say what they need and for new customers it might look like this software is not good. If they see what people LIKE it will be a balance! like tmetro said without voting it would be useless, but if there is a tab for that with a DIFERRENT vote count (even a limitless one) then admins could get a grasp of what really pleased the major part of their users. unfortunately people would just abuse it and use the two tabs to post everything.
