to make use of this tool, we would need to be able to keep the info our users give us for safekeeping, regardless of the availability of this service. Best would be to export the whole database and back it up in our own system.
This is where our upcoming Enterprise edition comes into play. With it, you'll have an API to capture and redistribute data however you'd like. Ping us if you'd like to hear more.

Absolutely imperitive to have export. Product/engineering managers can't manage the actual work from this site. Must be able to export. Comma or tab delimited would work. Jcabinaw and I are from the same company. We're trying to make a case for your tool... help us out!

Definitely need the ability to export into other tools, a minimum of Excel, to allow product teams to DO something with the data...outside of the site itself.

Getting internal buyin for this tool without some ability to export the results into an internal requirements process will be next to impossible. Right now, the idea of copying and pasting out of the forum makes me shudder.

I'd love to be able to export to a variety of formats including excel making it easy to create presentations for stakeholders and to XML or text so I can import it into our Bugzilla database for implementation.
