Allow e-mailing creators and voters of a suggestion
In some of our suggestions we need more specifics from the users. Allowing us to send them an e-mail to request for more information will be helpful.
Also, will be nice to attach polls to the current suggestion.

yeah, using the comment area works - but I feel like our users are a little reluctant in providing all of their details in a public site.
I guess the other alternative would be to allow users to post comments that are only viewable by the amins - an approach that could work but will likely be unneccesarily complex to the user.

Can't you use the comment area to ask for clarification? If the user who created the suggestion suggestion chooses to get mailings about activity updates (see user settings) then they will receive an email including your request for clarification.
