Member site based authentication
planned

Allow a member site with its own authentication system pass an authentication token when linking to UserVoice, so that registered users of a web application like SlimTimer won't have to register again for UserVoice.

We are currently investigation several options for a Single Sign On solution. We're leaning toward "oAuth" but open to your suggestions.

  1. I like this one as well. Would be very useful for vbulletin powered communities.

  2. I really think this would be useful. Especially when combined with the CNAME feature. It can be confusing with the site's branding to not know why you have to login/sign up for a new account

  3. That would be a great feature. I can not imagine that users of our application would be willing to log in again to a separate application to send feedback.

  4. I just created a request for this separately....i guess it would be difficult to find.

  5. This is absolutely essential for how I would like to implement UserVoice for my customers.
