  1. they use http://en.gravatar.com/, (but I have yet to see that written somewhere on the site)

  2. @goodlux,
see you only have 2 left, but if you want to change how you voted (if knowing in advnce would have changed your votes), you could always, you know, take them back and have the full 10 at any time! (clik on your number of votes in a given idea, and you can reduce/increase/zeor out)

  3. not only an abslout must, but, one should not be limited to -1, just limited in vote use and in givi ng the same negative maximum as positive.

if the maximum positive is +3, the maximum negative should be -3 and both in this case should eat 3 votes, anything else would compromise balance.

  4. @RBraxton:
agree on the `must lock upon returning votes',

but the user should be free to change their votes around
If they want their votes inluencing the implementation schedule of an Idea or Influencing the adoption of another one, that is their problem, if they see that their beloved `planned' Idea just dropped to a few votes and is falling back on implementation schedule they will vote back!

  5. arg! messy projects could have problemes, and NOT 'messy problems should have problems', my apologies.

  6. started sounds good!
An organized project should not have problems if this happens when is `started', messy problems could have problems.

if uservoice want to stay neutral and appease both, the idea of `getting votes back once the task is started' should be *ON by default* but possible to opt-out by the project admin.

  7. I respectfully disagree, in bigger projects people can have several planned ideas, the ever-evolving opinion of the users should be weighted in the implementation schedule!

  8. at least the possibility of making paragraphs and/or lists

  9. awww, I forgot that whitespace gets erased... well my suggestion surely turned into a wall of text...

  10. like tmetro said without voting it would be useless, but if there is a tab for that with a DIFERRENT vote count (even a limitless one) then admins could get a grasp of what really pleased the major part of their users. unfortunately people would just abuse it and use the two tabs to post everything.

  11. this tools its a brillliant idea og general user feedback, but turning it into a full fledged bug control system (like trac, bugzilla, flyspray etc) would make it lose focus, it is better to leave bug tracking to other apps and focus on general user feedback (which WILL include a bug from time to time)
