<text>After carefully reviewing the statistics, we've decided against allowing negative votes. Negative votes allow good ideas to be buried for political bias, dislike of the submitter, etc. Instead we're going to be building a system into comments that allows for you to provide a dissenting opinion and for others to agree with you. We're current working on a release that's focused on admin tools but this is next up on the agenda.</text>

<text>I'm part of a stealth startup that is doing closed alpha testing. The beta test might also be closed still. We're developing a proof-of-concept prototype and don't have any VC funding at this moment. We're about to build some simple home-grown feedback mechanism outselves, because we can't pay for your bronze plan which is too much for what we need and a lot more expensive than our server hosting, for example and thus not a justifiable expense.

When open our service to the public and get some funding, however, the cost of transition to your plans might be not worth the trouble, it might be cheaper for us to invest into out own tools at that time.

In other words, because your feature/pricing is unattractive to us given our current situation, you're losing the "get the foot in the door" opportunity and it might never come back. I'm glad that other service companies like New Relic are understanding this, and the value of a performance monitoring suite can be measured in much more tangible ways (and is thus much easier to justify) than a feedback tool.

Think about this.

Good luck,

<text>The phrases are out of context at 99translations, so I sometimes have difficulty determining what tense and mode to use when translating. (tenses in many languages do not map one-on-one with English, so the correct choice becomes context-sensitive).

If we can see a preview of how the translation finally ends up, we can easily catch language bugs and inconsistencies, and iron them out.</text>

Most people voting for multiple languages out here are probably people that speak English themselves but want to open up a UV page for their native audience. (just like me)

So translating the phrases in UV that users will see can take precedence over the phrases that only admins will see.</text>
