1. On a related note, when looking at a user's profile page declined, duplicate & spam suggestions are not displayed. However, the totals (x ideas, x votes, x comments) do count declined, duplicate & spam suggestions. Let me know if you want a url demonstrating this bug.

2. This post should have gone here: http://99designs.uservoice.com/

3. I'd say at add a tab that would show declined and duplicate suggestions to all users (so they don't feel ignored). Administrators should also have the option to view all spam and "other" marked messages. Maybe these could be optional filters because I wouldn't always want to see spam messages.

4. Looks like this is a duplicate of http://uservoice.uservoice.com/pages/general/suggestions/8606
You might as well consolidate your votes under one suggestion to get noticed more quickly.

5. @jericson: you should vote for this suggestions http://uservoice.uservoice.com/pages/general/suggestions/16356

It sounds like you two are having the same problem.

6. That works ok except that currently your username is displayed on-page fairly often. I wouldn't want my email address to be displayed like that. If users had a username, but could login with their emails, that would be good though.

Also, if you're a fan of OpenID you may also want to add a vote or three to this suggestion: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/pages/general/suggestions/55

7. Odd, must have been a glitch on gravatar's side of things. I see my icon now too. Thanks for the reply.

8. P.S. For those of you who don't know what a Gravatar is head over to http://www.gravatar.com

9. An easy way to get the most recent info is to use the "activity feed" located in the right-hand column when you're looking at the top ideas page. Even if you don't subscribe via RSS, you can view the list of new, updated & commented-on suggestions.

10. @TylerRick, sounds like a cool idea, but why not add suggestions to the existing facebook.uservoice.com? Users are supposed to add suggestions for products they use, not only ones they own. You would only be breaking the TOS if you created/became an admin of the facebook page & were changing the status of suggestions without being from facebook.

11. So close & yet so far. It doesn't get cut off anymore, but in FF 2.0.0.14 at least the bottom of the menu is hidden by the tos & privacy policy.

12. FYI, this bug has already been reported here: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/5154

13. Maybe you should move your votes to: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/5154
They have included a link to a screenshot & the suggestion currently has more votes.

14. You should vote (and offer your translation skills) here: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/174

15. Also annoying if you're browsing the "New" or "Completed" tabs. Both the back button & the "« Back to <site>" links take you back to the "Top ideas" tab.

16. Can't you use the comment area to ask for clarification? If the user who created the suggestion suggestion chooses to get mailings about activity updates (see user settings) then they will receive an email including your request for clarification.

17. I'm not affected spam, but when I fist signed up I used an informal username. Now that my company is considering using UserVoice it would like to switch to a more formal (recognized by customers) username.

18. I was supporting this item because of this re-styling piece. Thanks for getting that done UserVoice people!!

19. If you allow tagging or admin-created categories (http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/2322) wouldn't that basically also cover this need? I mean other than tmetro's nifty suggestion about rewarding bug reports. If so vote for 2322 :-)

21. Yeah, it's launched now (April 28th). But you should be careful as marking items completed when they aren't launched yet.

22. You should vote for this suggestion: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/174

23. You should vote for this suggestion: http://uservoice.uservoice.com/suggestions/174

24. Completed but not launched? I still can't vote from the details page as of April 23 at 5pm EST

25. mtaverni is right, all ampersands (even those in a script tag's src attribute or a link tag's href attribute) must be written as & <http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/problems.html#amp>. To confirm validity go to <http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input+with_options>, paste in the feedback widget code, choose "HTML fragment" & click the Check button.

26. Could be useful. In the meantime there are tons (well at least several) services that convert rss feeds to emails. A quick google search shows RssFwd <http://www.rssfwd.com/> and SendMeRss <http://www.sendmerss.com/> as two potential options.

27. A uservoice page I admin recently got a logo somehow & I've seen several more pages customize their color schemes. Is there any way I can access these "hidden" settings on my own yet? The logo you guys picked is OK, but we have better ones on file.

28. Allowing 60 seconds to change your wording sounds awesome, but I don't think that's what the original request was. I think ryanb was talking about editing the title when you're starting a new suggestion (by clicking the "create new idea" button). This shouldn't be a problem since the suggestion can't gain support while it's still being created.

29. You guys rock. Thanks for fixing these small suggestions so quickly!

30. Current behavior (I think):
-When you enter a new suggestion, search results are automatically returned
-If there are results, they are displayed & clicking the "add" button simply re-searches, returning the same results
-If there aren't results clicking the "add" button actually adds the new suggestion

This button should either be re-named "search", "go", etc. or should be removed completely.

31. Actually, many people have an OpenID whether they know it or not. Anyone with an AOL or Yahoo account (for example) already one: http://www.37signals.com/svn/posts/796-yahoo-accounts-become-valid-openids
Plus with Microsoft and Google joining the OpenID board I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same.

32. Yes, OpenID has security issues. But so does any signin process. In this case, the point is to limit voting by the same person. Limiting by IP is bad when corporations use 1 or 2 IPs. Limiting by account is Ok, but forces users to sign up. Limiting by OpenID seems like a wonderful middle ground.
